Maslin Beach, south of Adelaide in South Australia, became Australia's first officially legal nude beach in 1975, and its southern section remains one of the country's best-known clothing-optional destinations. It's a council-managed public beach rather than a private resort, with the nude section clearly separated from the clothed northern part of the beach.
