Privacy policy

Last updated: August 27, 2026

This policy explains what information ClothesSuck.com collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. ClothesSuck is intended for adults; the site is not directed at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under that age.

Information we collect

If you create an account, we collect the information needed to run it: your email address, and — if you choose to add them — a home location, travel radius, and browsing preferences used to personalize saved listings and alerts. If you don't create an account, we still collect standard technical information common to any website: pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, browser and device type, and referring pages.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies: essential cookies that keep the site and any account session working, and, where you've consented, cookies that support basic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser settings at any time; blocking essential cookies may affect site functionality like staying signed in.

How we use your information

We use account information to operate your saved listings, alerts, and any trips you create, and to send you the emails you've asked for. We use technical and analytics information in aggregate to understand which pages and listings are useful and to improve the site. We do not sell your personal information.

Email communications

We separate operational email (account confirmations, security notices, alerts you've set up) from marketing email (newsletters, product announcements), and you can opt out of marketing email independently of operational email.

Sharing your information

We share information with the service providers that run the site's infrastructure — our hosting and database provider and our email delivery provider — only as needed to provide the service. We don't sell personal information to third parties, and we don't share it with advertisers for their own marketing purposes.

Trips and sharing

Saved listings, alerts, and trips you build are private by default. If you choose to share a trip, that creates a noindexed, read-only link that isn't searchable, and anyone with the link can view the trip. Attendance on shared or group trips displays only as an aggregate headcount, never a named list, unless you've explicitly opted into something more specific.

Your choices and rights

You can review and update your account information, download the data tied to your account, or delete your account at any time from your account settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under laws like the GDPR or CCPA; reach out and we'll honor applicable requests.

Data retention

We keep account information for as long as your account is active, and delete it within a reasonable period after you close your account, except where we're required to retain limited records for legal or security purposes.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page and, where required, notify account holders directly.
